How can we help?

Ember support is handled by email. Write to support@emberdatingapp.org and we reply within two business days, usually sooner. Include the email address on your Ember account so we can find it quickly.

Common questions

Why can't anyone see my profile? Profiles become visible after two steps: passing the government ID and liveness check, and adding at least four photos. Both are in the app under your profile.

My verification didn't go through. Place your ID flat on a dark surface in good light, make sure all four corners are in the frame, then take the selfie in the same light without glasses or a hat. If it still fails, email us with the address on your account and we'll look at it.

How does translation work? Write in your language. The other person reads it in theirs, and their reply comes back in yours. It's on by default in every conversation and covers more than 100 languages.

How do I manage or cancel Premium? Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, and you manage them there: on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

How do I delete my account? In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account, or follow the steps on our account deletion page. Deletion is permanent.

Report a member or a safety concern

You can report and block anyone from their profile or from your conversation with them. You can also email support@emberdatingapp.org with what happened, when, and screenshots if you have them. We review every report. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
